Urchin(ent) Update
April 5th, 2006
Hi Everyone,
We are working to improve your experience on the site. As a part of our efforts we need to understand more about how the site is performing. In particular, we want to understand what pages or features are slow or troublesome to for you to use.
To help us determine where to look and what to fix, we are using a web site analytics tool. This tool allows us to better see what is happening on the site. They do not slow the site down or touch any personal information. The information collected is anonymous and aggregated so no-one can determine any information at an individual level.
The analytics tool we are using is called Urchin. You may be asked to download a small javascript to help the analytics tool do its job. This javascript is harmless and only works with the ezboard site improvement project we are doing.
You computer will not run slower or in any different way because of the site improvement activities. In fact, your ezboard experience should be faster when we are done.
So, please help us to make your ezboard experience the best one possible by allowing the Urchin javascript to be on your computer. We will let you know when the project is done in case you want to remove the javascript.
Should you have specific questions please go to help.ezboard.com and as our great CS team will assist you. I will post FAQs here as usual.
Rob
UPDATE: Researching ezboard helps you in two ways: one, we can manage our existing systems better and two it helps us understand how to refine Yuku to operate more efficiently.
